Waterfall won the contest "The Best Exporter of the Don"

The company Waterfall among the three exporting enterprises received the diploma of the winner of the annual contest "The Best Exporter of the Don" in 2016. The Ministry of Economic Development of the Rostov Region also mentioned 19 regional enterprises, supplying finished products, produced in the territory of the Don region. The foreign trade turnover of the Rostov region in 2016 amounted to $ 7.7 billion: exports – $ 5.5 billion, imports – $ 2.2 billion. The positive balance of the foreign trade balance amounted to $ 3.3 billion.

The results of the annual competition were presented by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Rostov Region Evgeny Mamychev, who awarded the diploma of the winner to the managing director of LLC Waterfall PRO Dmitry Kolchin.

"Since August of last year, we are actively present both in the Russian and export markets. Nowadays, the geography of export supplies of products of the company Waterfall includes 36 countries of the near abroad and Europe," said Dmitry Kolchin during the awarding ceremony. According to him, the strategic task of the company is to provide the Russian food and processing industry with high-quality packaging material and active expansion to foreign markets.

The company Waterfall is a modern enterprise for the production of biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP film), a part of the multi-profile holding Megapolis Group. The design capacity of the plant is 60,000 tons/year. The share of export of finished goods to the countries of Europe and the CIS in the total volume of sales is 30%.
